Mrs. Burkhead, 8th Grade PE/Adapted PE

I grew up in Montpelier, OH and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education from Huntington University in 2003. After graduating, I lived in Decatur, IN until 2014 when I began working at CMS teaching 8th grade Physical Education.

I spent 10 years teaching Physical Education and Health. 4 years were full time and 6 part-time where I was able to be home while my children were little. I have also coached high school volleyball and basketball.

My family and I enjoy camping, playing games and watching movies together. I like to try to stay active by running in races.  I've run in 5Ks, 4 mile races, a 10K and 2 half marathons.

Mrs. Greeson, 7th grade Art

I grew up in Bloomington, earned my Art teaching degree from IU and later returned for my master’s degree. My husband Wayne and I lived in South Florida and Arkansas while raising our three sons before moving back to Indiana in 2004.

Traveling, watching sports, reading, community theatre and of course art are some of the things I enjoy. I am active in my church and spending time with my family. Coaching high school speech led to starting the Middle School speech team which is a fun challenge. I became the Art Club sponsor so those who don’t have Art in their schedule can still have that creative outlet.
